Kaua'i is the oldest of the major Hawaiian Islands and is known as the Garden Island. Poipu beach on the south side of the island and generally has much less rain than the North Shore. There are numerous fine restaurants nearby including the renovated Plantation Gardens restaurant on the property (2 minutes walk from the unit.) We can provide more detailed area information on request. Also nearby are several excellent championship golf courses including Poipu Bay Resort where the PGA Grand Slam is played each year. The beach at the Kiahuna Plantation is probably the best on the island, and feels like a private beach at the Kiahuna. Beach amenities are offered free of charge.
